Meet The Palmer Team

Ricky was licensed in 1978 and was a broker/owner of a local real estate firm. In 1990, he sold the firm and began a career in the Satellite industry. In 2002, Ricky re-entered the real estate industry and developed the dynamic "Palmer Team". Ricky specializes in new construction and development of properties. He is certified with the following designations: ePro Certified, Accredited Buyer Representation, Certified Residential Specialist and the Graduated REALTOR Institution. He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, Virginia Association of REALTORS and the New River Valley Home Builders Association.
Joanne and Ricky reside in the Riner community in Montgomery County with their Boxer, "Dudley". In their free time, together they enjoy gardening and entertaining their family & friends. They are very supportive of the Riner community and the Auburn school system.
 

Joanne has over 28 years of experience in the New River Valley residential market, expertise in new construction & buyer representation. If you can't find what you're looking for, she'll have a custom built home especially designed for your needs. Joanne, "Your Internet Savvy REALTOR" has knowledge and training for your needs. She is certified with the following designations: ePro Certified, Accredited Buyer Representation, Certified Residential Specialist and the Graduated REALTOR Institution. She is a member of the Real Estate Cyberspace Society, National Association of REALTORS, Virginia Association of REALTORS and the New River Valley Home Builders Association. Joanne has been very involved throughout her Real Estate career with her Associations. She has won the Home Builders marketing award, REALTOR of the Year, Outstanding Young Woman of the Year, VAR Honor Society and Listing Agent of the Year. She is a consistent multi-million dollar sales performer.  

Darin is a lifetime resident of the Riner community in Montgomery County. He began his real estate career in 2004 with the Palmer Team. He has been certified with the following designations: Accredited Buyers Agent, Graduated Realtors Institute, Certified Residential Specialist and ePro Certified. Darin is very knowledgeable with new construction and the time and patience that are required to see the transaction from the beginning to the end.
He is a graduate of Radford University with a B.S. in Math and Economics.
Darin resides in Riner with his wife, Tabitha Hawley Greear.
 

Jackie began working part-time with the Palmer Team in 2000 as the Marketing Director. As the Team grew, so did her responsibilities. In 2006, the Team was ecstatic to gain her full time.  

She came from a high-stressed career in marketing and management and feels that marketing real estate is a delight compared to her previous employment. Her abilities to diffuse clients’ issues will leave a smile on their face after a conversation with her. 

She resides in Christiansburg with her husband, Neil and step-daughter, Harmony.
 

Tabitha is a part-time assistant to the Marketing Director. She handles marketing research and digitizing data files. 

She has a master’s degree from Radford University in Curriculum and Instruction and a bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a minor in History. 

Tabitha resides in the Riner community with her husband, Darin.
